So back in 2008, we had quite a lot of press. Since then we have been staying a little more low key. But if you wanted to check out any of the links regarding the disagreement with the City of Bartlett, here are the links below. Some really nice blogs
Over the years Rachael has been written up in the Commercial Appeal, the Memphis Flyer and Memphis Health & Fitness. All of this before the great battle over opening in Bartlett. There are also two other links on this page one is an interview with Rachael and the Wake Up Crew from Rock 103 and the other is an excellent interview with both Rachael & Kyra done by the Commercial Appeal TV this fall. It is a great article that really shows the true colors of Strip to Fit. Some of the details are out of date, we do have a NEW studio WITH POLES and we are no longer in Cordova but rather have a lovely space in Bartlett. Like the other articles, the stats maybe out date, but the moves are still moving and the ladies are still having a great workout, a great time and leaving feeling wonderful about themselves. Way back at the beinning I was lucky enough to have a reporter from the Memphis Flyer come and visit my class. She wrote a great article that ran in July 2005. Most people, if they are looking for Strip to Fit come across this article. I have included the link below. This link does not require you to purchase the entire article entitled "Leave it On." Since Strip to Fit began 3 years ago. The article in the Commercial Appeal ran in June '06. If you are interested in reading it you will have to sign in to the CA's archives to locate the story. I have included the link to the story below entitled "Learning the Moves." On the CA's website there is a woman referred to as the iDiva and she was not as fond of the idea of a strip tease class as the most of us are.
